Hi, First time posting on the CNCzone. I am a student at the local community college. One of my classes I am taking now is a Wire EDM class. We had an assignment to write a program to cut a v-block shape out of a 1/4" piece of steel. In my program I included a G48 for Automatic Corner. The program ran fine until the first corner that cut in the counterclockwise direction. When it got to that point the machine kept cutting but stopped moving and would just sit there. The only way to get the program to run all the way through was to remove the G48 (G49). The machine is a AccuteX Wire EDM. Thanks in advance for any help or comments. Let me know if you need more info to help me. Thanks again. |
