Charmilles Robofil 200 programs

Does anyone have some sample programs for a Charmilles Robofil 200? I am still waiting on my manuals from Charmilles. I get 2 files when I post from my CAM software. The first one is myprogram.cmd and the second one is myprogram.iso. The .iso file seems to be standard gcode but the first is a little strange to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does your programme have multiple contours. The .cmd programme is often used to call sub programmes.
For example your .cmd programme might have all your start point coordinates and then call your programme after each move has been made

.cmd programs

Yes this appears to be the way it works on my machine.

Do you have a sample like this that I can look at?

I have a multiple fixture/part setup to do, right now I run one .iso program and then the other one.

That machine is a little older than I realised so not exactly sure on the control.
You could try something like this.

G0 X0 Y0
S101 (Service pack technology for rough)
M98 P1008 (Sub programme call)
G0 X0 Y0 (Linear rapid)
S102 (Technology setting for finish pass)
M98 P1008 (Sub programme call)
G77 P2 (Positioning at stored measured point)
S201
M98 P1009
etc......

Switch on rear of machine at the wire exit to the catch basket is not tripped or possibly the wire has gotten out of the basket and shorted on the machine somewhere. Don't forget to press other button (not wire feed button) above the wire supply roll to reset the rear cover open condition.

Hi,

HPA is workpiece thickness
ZDES is Z draw...height above center of lower nozzle at which you want to draw
the contour..
