Good Morning everybody, I'm looking for input on how the Makino and Sodick wires are? How easy are they to set angles? Just want some user imput not salesman talk. I've run both Charmilles and Mitsubishi. I perfer hands down Mits. But boss is a Makino(milling guy) so he's pushing Makino. I have heard that the new sodick's are real nice but not sure the ease of Squaring the wire is on both machine makes.Any and all imput would be very helpful. Thanks Toolz |

| Makino are super nice, accurate machines but they are also twice the price of Charmilles/Sodick. You'll only reap the benefit if youre set up in optimum conditions with temp control etc. It also depends on the sort of work you're actually doing and whether a Makino is slightly overkill for your application. |
