Has anyone found a way to avoid the dreaded MW Critical Eror in simulator? I'm getting kind of pissed about it. Sometimes not even cranking the tolerance way up helps. My workaround then is to split the program in two parts, simulate the first part, save the stl, import the stl in the second part as stock, simulate the second part and finally save this stl. This works, but it's a pain in the * and shouldn't be necessary. These kinds of amateurish bugs get me fuming about EdgeCam sometimes. At times like that I get the feeling most of my time is spent working around the bugs in EdgeCam instead of cranking out usefull NC. Any news whether this is resolved in 2010? Guess not, but who knows. Regards, Rob |
