I bought the milling and solid machinist CD here

I was creating toolpaths almost immediately. EdgeCam training is hard to come by. I recommend products from this website without reservation.

I also bought the cd:s and they are very good, frankly there isn't anything else out there to buy. Well there is this one book, never tried that one.

I've also been considering these videos, I'm glad to hear the positive response. I looked at one sample and it seemed to be demonstrating on ver 11.5 . I'm on 2009 R2, are the videos available updated to that version or are the commands & menus similar enough to still be current?
I also found this link to some other videos which helped in some basic areas.

I was never bothered by the use of an older edgecam in the videos, they are current enough for almost everything to be the same.

I see theese CD:s as a help to get you started with edgecam, they teach the basics and way of thinking when using the program. With theese the forums and some intensive reading of the manuals you could probably teach yourself alot of the program, but at the end of the day you probably want someone to call and ask for help when your stuck and the machine is waiting.

We just put the Edgecam training CD's on sale. Buy the 4 CD set and save the most money. Even if you dont have Strategy Manager, it's worth looking at for the price.
