| I setup my post for subroutines using the Translate function and CPL naming convention. My post is built for a Horizontal with the potential of 4 machining positions on each face of a tombstone. Each part position has a unique prefix for the CPL. Position one always starts with P1, P2, P3 .. P9, with a INDEX output. G0 G54.1 P1 B0.0 M98 P1025 G0 G54.1 P13 B0.0 M98 P1025 G0 G54.1 P15 B0.0 M98 P1025 G0 G54.1 P17 B0.0 M98 P1025 Position two always starts with P13, P23, P33 Position three starts with P15, P25, P35 Position four starts with P17,P27,P37 All done automatically in the post. |

Bring me a bright light. .... I prove out a program at G54 P1 ( time spent, watching the hold button) And then I call the same program at G54 P13 ( walk away, no watching ) So, I do something once, and it is proven. Is there another better way where you dont have to prove the program? Maybe there are secret methods in the continent that everyone should enjoy. Please enlightnen Thanks. |
