Need Help!- how to edit edgecam post processor

i have a problem, i have the post processor file for master cam x, how can i edit it to edgecam 12 post processor file? or do i need to make a new post processor file. the machine is FADAL VMC 2016L. thanks for helping.

i don't think you can do that.
you will need a new one.
they are fairly easy to work up or modify an existing one if you know what you what your program to look like.
i have worked up a few for different machines from scratch.
there are several around at different sites.
they are kinda specific to your preferences as far as the small details but most will be real close to what you need.

i have fadal posts if you email me i can give them to you at your own risk.
i have seen some at most forums i've been to for edgecam, fairly common machine.

you definately need to make a new one. You can use your last post processor as a guide, most things should be the same, but you need to spend the time to make a new post processor
