do you mean you want to move your cpl?
This is from memory, so might be a bit wrong...
Go into design mode.
Go to 'edit' dropdown
at the bottom is the highly descriptive command 'CPL'
You use that to move your CPL position:
In the 'general' tab, fill in what it is that you want to move. i.e., workplane would be ZX for a lathe. Tick 'origin'. On the CPL dropdown on the right select the name of the CPL you want to move.
Under 'reference' tab choose what it is you want to move relative to (i.e. the datum of the coordinate system for your move). So if you've measured how far out your CPL is while the TURN cpl is active, that's the CPL you're using as a reference. If you've measured how far out your CPL is using a CPL you've defined, then you'll want to use THAT one as a reference.
You can't move 'standard' cpls (turn, invturn, etc) , only ones you've defined yourself.
This is a good example of edgecam's annoying tendency to make something simple into something really complicated and unintuitive, not to mention hiding the command to do it under a undescriptive dropdown!
Hope that helps. |
