    Drilling cycles

I'm back to doing some milling in edgecam, and it's been a while and i'm rusty.

I'm stuck with my drilling cycle:
    G81 G98 R5.0 Z-5.5 F75.0

I want the G98 to be a G99 (governing whether the retract height is to the R plane or to the initial plane).
There's a setting somewhere in the drill dialogue box to choose, but can I find it? Nope.

    Anyone?

    J

All you have to do is put a value in the retract filed and it will output a G98. If it's left blank then you get a G99

    Hi
In the depth tab in the drilling dialog box make the figures in the level & retract equal to the clearance figure and you will get a G99, if the combined figures of the level & retract are less than the clearance you will get a G98.
    Hope this is helpful.
