| Speed feed data link to cutter and material Hi How is Edgecam setup for speeds and feeds based on type of material and cutter chosen? What sequences do you have to do to set this up? Reference version 10 or later. Thank You |

| It is mostly set up in the toolstore: For each tool you specify either an "insert-link" which is manufacturer predefined speeds & feeds, or you manually specify what speeds you want for each material you use. Then in Edgecam you apply a specific material to the model (Options->Model). When creating an operation in manufacture mode and you pick a tool from the toolstore it should automatically fill in the speeds that have been defined for that tool and that material, of course here you can still override if required.
