looking for feed back on various cad cam software , we are a company new to cad cam manufacture so looking at starting with starter software, need to know things along the lines of tool path quality(heidenhain and fanuc), how good posts are, post verification(anti collision), run multiple programs at once thru cimco client, drive cmm running pcdmis , 3+2 machines, both horizontal borers and ram mill type machines, time scales before upgrading, solid modelling capabilities, supplier back up, Looking at Delcam,Edgecam,Mastercam, in need of user feedback, decision time looming

SolidWorks og Inventor for CAD and EdgeCam for CAM is a very good choice.

MasterCam and Delcam is way to complicated if you wanna make something rather simple and get the job done in a hurry.
