    Lightbulb Mirror Machining

    Good evening everybody, i have to do a machining cycle, and then do a mirror machining, but i need the nc code just for the mirror machining operation, how can i get that because there only gives me the full sequence code, maybe can i do a mirror machining in other sequence but taking the operatios from a previous sequence?? please Help Me

    Edgecam will always post both the first operation and the mirrored operation. What I usually do is put a comment line with a bunch of asterisks just before the mirror operation and then it is easy to search in the nc code and then delete everything from that point to the start of the program. Or you could try turning on the block delete from the start of the program and turn it off at the starting of the mirror operation and use the block delete switch on the machine to skip the first part of the program

    Thanks a lot, i really donīt know how to use the block delete, could you explain me please.

    I am confused,,,, if you create a job with 20 toolpaths in does this mean you can only post all in one file. WOW,,,,,

    Hi Tony, that's not what is happening, in the fact, you can split the 20 toolpaths if you want, but the mirror machining works inside the original toolpath feature, and that's what i don't know how to split.
