Datum setting for Okuma mill

I was able to configure the post to give me the following code for the datum setting:
VZOFX[1]=0.000
VZOFY[1]=0.000
VZOFZ[1]=0.000

The value is calculated from the mating location.

2 issues with this.

1st, I have not figured out how to change the machine mating CPL to give me the right numbers. For some reason, the top of the table is about -6.35 inches in machine coordinate on our mill. I would like to force my machine mating CPL to be that number so my offsets come out right.

2nd, I have thought of just abandoning the automatic calculation of the work offset. However, I cannot use the "insert NC code" to enter VZOFX[1] because any number in [] EC sees as a variable and will not allow it to have brackets.

How is everyone dealing with this? Are you guys using the numbers spit of from EC, then just tweaking them later, after setting the job up on the machine?

This should work for a horizontal mill with Baxis table.

Insert this code in 'set work datum's and use the x/y/zabsorigin tokens.

;CODE: #XSUB=#XSUB-XHOME
;CODE: #YSUB=#YSUB-YHOME
;CODE: #ZSUB=#ZSUB-ZHOME
