edgecam wire help

I use edgecam 90% of the time for 2 axis on wire.
When I have to do 4 axis I have not been able to use it and resort
to a less expensive cam system
When I try to use the 4 axis I keep getting that I have to choose the wire diameter which I have done. I have been trying to teach my self more of the
4 axis but cant get past this choosing the wire diameter problem
I call local support and they know the mill and the lathe but very poor in the
wire.
Can any one help?
