edgecam with ati 5450 hd, ctrl + right mouse click

Hello, we've received a new computer with Ati's 5450 hd graphics card, and im having slight problem with one of the features.

When you ctrl+right click mouse you can choose the center point of rotation a solid, wire anything. But with newest catalyst drivers, or bit older, or without any drivers at all, the feature doesnt work as supposed.

When i ctrl+right mouse click some point where i'd like to have the rotating center, its like 2000mm off, after choosing some point and trying to rotate the piece just moves out of the screen because the center point is so much off.

Im wondering if anyone else has crossed similar problem or might have a suggestion, since our reseller just wants us to switch to nvidia card.

I've changed almost any setting inside the catalyst control setting and none seems to have any affect on the problem, instead i can create other problems so im sure some of the CCC features might be the reason.
