    Configuration of lathe in EC

    Hi all!

The turret in the lathe is placed prior to spindle axis, mirror around Z axis
    in "Turn" CPL in EC.
I need an advice: how to configure EC and Code wizard for realistic simulation and right calculation.
    Best regards,

    Vadim

    Hello Vadim,
Please provide more description of your machine,

What is the model of the machine ??
Is there only one upper tool turret (2 axis) ??
Is there a second lower turret (4 axis) ??
Does the machine have a sub spindle ??
Does the machine have live tools / mill capability ??
What type of controller - Seimens, Heidenhein or Fanuc ??

    **********
    Open Code Wizard
    Start a New document
    select machine options:
    2 axis for 1 turret
    4 axis for 2 turrets
select "C & Y axis" for live tool / mill capability
select "load the default parametric graphics"
    select inch or metric
select an adaptive template of a similar machine

On the "Machine Setup" Tab you can edit the
dimensions and positions to match your machine.
