I have seen Chuck models that are controled by parameters, how can i make this myself? I have a chuck in my 4th axis and would also like to make a flexible vice this way. I dont really want to do it with PCI this solution seems much better and edgecam has support for it it seems. |

| Solution was to restore parametric model in the post, then add it again and not delete the chuck then i got it after lots of pain. Got reply from support to finally. with the same solution as i just had figured out. But the sad part is that it cant be done with normal solids in edgecam = i cant make a vice this way. and worse the chuck is just a ghost image it cant be used to check for collisions against =( so 2 weeks of testing for nothing. I will build my environments in solidworks instead and then import it all at once together with the part to mill. |
