I am running EC 2010 R1 on a HAAS VF3 & VF6 and I have never been able to get it to post "through coolant" as M88 instead of M08. I have it checked when I select the tool in the toolstore, but that doesn't do anything. Also I would like it not to post any coolant on some of our face mills that are recommended to run dry. Any help would be appreciated.

| change to m code in the code wizard...if you want to not use the coolant look in the tool tab to see if you have the option to run cw with no coolant.. or do it the easy way.. in edgecam go to m-functions coolant and select off... or insert code and type m08

| You're post will more than likely need some ;CODE: customization. Something along the lines of... ;CODE:%IF #THROUGHTOOL1=88 %THEN #COOL=#FUNNY As well as some other ;CODE: entries and the correct tokens placed in the correct code constructors. Who is your local reseller? You should contact them regarding this and they should be able to set this up for you. I could do this for you but for my company this is considered a billable item. If you are interested then please let me know.
