I stopped by a machine shop in Tempe today which was closing after more than 30 years in business since the owners were retiring, and picked up a few things today. I also talked a bit with one of the company founders and his brother who are both great guys preparing for retirement after a long career running the shop. They are selling the building along with all the tools and materials inside (that they have left). Unfortunately I was too late for the endmills or to check out their bridgeport mills, but I still picked up some delrin scrap and an ER collet set for my X3. They still have one mill and one lather left, along with a surface grinder. See CL ad below for the one they have left) and they also have a Jet 5015 lathe. They also have quite a few tools left - many reamers and taps, along with drill chucks, indicators and workholding tools and a ton of various screws, pins and miscellaneous small parts. Some are offered in lots (such as their scrap plastics) and some individually.

I checked out their Yamazen 5BVK (well looked at it). It looked pretty good for a mill that has been working for over 20 years. It has a power draw bar, and an Allen Bradley control. I think it is the same model that somebody here converted to use with Mach3 (ripped out the controls and replaced them with PC compatible servo drivers). They are including a cart full of tooling and parts with it as well. I did not see it run (because I am not a serious buyer, I did not ask), but it does say in the CL post that it can be demo'ed.
