    let's see:
    diamond disk: 1$
    DC motor: 1-3$
    switch: 1$
some Al or plastic support, with minimum of machining: 2-3$

    Total components cost: under 10$

    Then why it's 50$ ?!

The "hardest to find" component is the diamond disk... Set of 5 20mm Mini Diamond Cutting Discs for DIY, Silver Smithery and Crafts | Virtual Village - US

You forgot power supply, hardware, shipping supplies, shipping & tax from suppliers, google check out, paypal or ebay fee's

But please post links to where I can purchase the parts at the prices you listed so I can save money some $$

And if you will do the machining for the price you posted I will be more than happy to give you some work, hell I'll pay you $5 ea.

As for the 20mm diamond disks, they would only work if you were sharpening 1/8" bits, not enough diamond doped surface to sharpen a 1/4, 3/8" on an angle. One 1.5" disk is equal to approximately 4 of those 20mm in total diamond coverage and also better heat displacement.

Also take a look at the prices of the other diamond sharpeners on the market $300 and up. Most people with small lathes won't spend $300+ for a carbide sharpener, which is why I designed the DCH in the first place, for myself!

    I think this says everything

But I must admit that it's a useful item. I did one like yours with a RC motor (that I had on hand), and the total cost was way under your 65USD (price listed on the site).

I have to say $55 is more then reasonable for it. You dont have to do anything but plug it in and use it.

Nothing wrong with that price, very fair.
Still, your site has no motor specs, no contact information, no name, no location, no address and no phone number only a gmail account and of course a "Add to Cart" button, that doesn't do much to encourage a sale.
