Umbrella Technologies has designed an interface board specifically for our KFLOP Motion Controller called UMAX. It contains most everything one might need for a typical 3 axis mill conversion using stepper drivers. About a dozen input conditioning circuits for limits and proximity sensors, four relay outputs, a special EStop circuit, and more.
For only $99 for the basic board it is well worth it.

Hello every one!!
I allready have a Kflop, and I am thinking about buying Kanalog too.
But now with the release of the Umax Breakout board, I don't know if it is more convenient buy Kanalog or Umax BOB.
I think the main purpose of Kanalog is to drive Analog Servo Drives, Isn't it? My Yaskawa servo drives are Step and Dir, So, my plan is to use only the other Kanalog various I/O capability (Relays drivers, opto inputs, opto outputs, etc..) without using the Analog outputs, (Just one, for the VFD).
So, I am asking for a little advice, what do you think about that configuration?.
What are the main differences using "Kflop + Kanalog" Vs. "Kflop + Umax"? (besides the Analog output of Kanalog).
Thanks in advance.![]()
Before you can make it, you need dream it!!!
