Z axis is not stopping at commanded position

Hi everyone,,

I am using kflop motion board with 5 motors X, Y, Z, A, C in which X, Y, A,C are connected to JP7 and Z is connected to JP5.

And also using proximities connected to JP5 and JP7 encoder bits.

When i am commanding X 50, X axis moves 50 units in positive direction similarly for Y, A, C.

But in case of Z if i am commanding Z 50 then z is going towards positive direction and not stopping at 50 units.

Similarly for Z -50 , z is again going towards positive direction, But in actual it has to go to Negative direction. and has to stop at Z-50.

But it is not doing that. I am in doubt that this is because of proximity or JP5 pins.

What is causing that error. ? and how to solve it ?

But it is not doing that.

If you are using Step/Direction Drives and the Direction never changes then the most obvious thing would be your Direction signal is not connected or not working or not configured correctly for your drives. Check the Direction Signal voltage on the drive and work backwards to find the problem.

I am in doubt that this is because of proximity or JP5 pins.

I don't understand what you mean by this statement.
