Why are you using a servo motor for a spindle? It would be cheaper and easier to put an encoder on a regular motor if you wanted to do rigid tapping or something, and you'd get a more powerful spindle for the same price.
Hi I am considering purchasing one of these Chinese AC servo motors NEW 10NM 2.6KW AC Servo Motor Drive Kit 3ph 220V 130mm 2500RPM 10A 3M Cable | eBay#. I know it is a Chinese oem brand but I don't see the point buying expensive motors for a cheap machine. Any how I was wondering if you could look at the details and tell me if you think it'll work fine with the KFLOP and Kanalog. It uses differential feedback which the kanalog can handle. I intend to use it as a spindle motor running through a 2:1 ratio belt drive.
Thank you,
Regards Layman94.
