Tom,
Does this mean KMotionCNC has now been ported to c#, or at least .Net?
What major limitations are there on the modifications a user can reasonably make using this tool?

Hi Ray,
No Nether. The idea of KMotionCNC Screen Editor is for a non-programmer to be able to modify his screen look to his taste by changing which controls are displayed, where, what size, colors, text, images, hotkeys, tool tips, etc... Not really to add major new functionality.
However with the capability to add buttons to perform User Defined Actions or change Screen layouts, and to display Status, enter data fields, and so forth we hope it should handle most requirements.
However adding some new, specialized functionality that is tightly coupled to the GUI internals is probably not feasible. We're thinking that we will now be more open to add more specialized controls that we were previously reluctant to add due to cluttering up the main screen. Now users can easily pick and choose which functions they want and organize them on multiple screens. So adding new controls should not negatively impact Users that don't want them.

Here is another simple example of using KMotionCNC Screen Editor to add an Instantaneous Feed Rate DRO to the Screen. We have an issue with KMotionCNC showing more of an average rate based on the position change over the last 100ms.
Attached is the Screen Script and C Program that calculates the Feed Rate.
