Default Will Kflop do this 8/16 axis ?

Hi, I need 8, possibly up to 16 axis low speed coordinated motion. Can someone used to Kflop tell me if it can do:

    A) run 8-16 axis simultaneously in fully coordinated motion ( +/- a few counts)
    B) Step/Dir output to Integrated Servos
    C) Do home/reference on the servos index pulse, preferably catch the pulse at full motor speed
    D) Change speed / acceleration 'on-the-fly' (based on external inputs)
    E) Trapez + Triangle + S- trajectory planner
    F) Stand-alone program can read external digital signals (switches) and analog (potmeters) at runtime, and use this as soft vars/ control inputs to 'steer the machine'

Default Re: Will Kflop do this 8/16 axis ?

    Hi ppBuilder,

    Regarding:

A - KFLOP can drive up to 8 axes of coordinated motion

    B - yes

C - Index pulse length must be 180us

D - Hardware FRO is immediate. Accelerations are pre-planned by Trajectory Planner and would depend on what you mean by on-the-fly

E - Coordinated motion is 2nd order Trapazoidal. Independent motions and rapids are 3rd order

F - Stand alone User programs can command motion, jogging, etc based on I/O but would depend on what you mean by "steer the machine"
