    Default Kflop+Kstep video

    Just want to share my new set-up,
    After all helps from Tom I am able to make my router running,
    - My router is 48x48 DIY build
    - Gantry weight 150 pounds
    - Kflop + Kstep
    - Vexta stepper pk299-f4.5
    - material is 3mm thich, it is uluminum composite,1 gem thick alu on both side, plastic composite at the middle,
    -Kflop+Kstep+power supply, no breakboard needed, very simple to hook-up, first video is 7~8 meter/min , second one is 4m/min, before this set-up I have Mach3+smoothstepper, I either have rounding corner+smooth movement or square corner+jerky movement(stop at every curve"node") but can not have both, Kflop+kstep make my router run much smoother and no rounding corner at all, even at 8-10meter/min, and it is so stable,I like the way it run, slow down at corner before acc.
    the system is so affordable, hardware and software, support are topnotch,
    Thanks Tom for all your helps, a very satisfied customer.

    Hi IRAN2000,

    Thanks much for taking the time to post the video we really appreciate it.

    If possible could you tag it with KFLOP, KStep, or Dynomotion so searches find it?

    Could you tell me what supply voltage you are using?

    Also what is your resolution in KMotionCNC|Tool Setup|Trajectory Planner?

    So I can calculate motor speed at the 7~8 m/min.

    Kflop+Kstep video-5-10-2012-11-59-58-jpgHi Tom
    - Resolution x=4110, y=4065, z=31000,
    Ver=15 , Acc=20
    - Power supply=40v ,500VA, my vecta stepper conf. for 6A per
    phase, but my Kstep max out at 5A, I don't have time to
    rewire my vexta stepper. How do I tag these video, is it
    from utube or from this forum.

    Hi ITRAN2000,

    Thanks that gives me everything.

    8m/min cutting would be:

    8000/25.4 = 315ipm = 5.24ips = 21575 uSteps/sec =
    1384 full steps/sec = 405 RPM @ motor

    I see you have max velocity set at 15 ips. Is that achievable/reliable?

    That would be:

    15ips = 61650 uSteps/sec = 3853 full steps/sec = 1156 RPM

    Hi Tom
    You mean with my vel. setting, my router unable to up to that speed, I really don't know but that is what I set from my artcam, about reliable: yes
    it is reliable, I simply check for lost step by putting a tape on stepper pole and it always return the same position, have been cut at this speed for few
    weeks and no lost steps at all, so happy , just placed an order for 2 more sets. "Hello linh tran,
    You sent a payment of $989.92 USD to DynoMotion, Inc.
    (support@dynomotion.com) "
    Next time I will find a better camera and will
    record a better video, on the video that I uploaded to utube, utube tried to eliminate the video shaking that why the video look funny.
