    need help again

    Inrersoll rand mod D42IN 25 cfm
    Can anywon tell me would this be a good choce of dryer for hyperyherm 85 on my dynatorth table thank you for your time

    Miles, I googled it and looked at a few web catalogs and specs, it looks like a good one at 25cfm. Somewhere I read it was important to size the dryer close to what your Ac cfm is. I am using a 17.5cfm Ac and a 20cfm dryer (harbor freight used from craigslist) and it works good. We cut mostly oxy fuel so it is not used all day, only when we are cutting w/plasma. At 100amps it works pretty consitent, lots of flow but with 60amp or even fine cut it has much less flow through it.

    Have you used your 85 yet? curious how you like it. I am hoping that a torch retro for our 1650 is in hypertherms future, one like the 85 has.

    Thanks for your help one again Tom
    The 85 is still in my dreems I am cutting with an old 1000 but I want to upgrade before to long.
    I thought it would be good to go a bit bigger than I need on the dryer maybe thats wong thinken.
