Is anyone running the friction test that's built into the DT software? Just curious what kind of results you are seeing. On my long axis I got a pretty consistent reading of about 0.6 all the way down and back. On the short axis it varied from a low of about 0.4 up to a peak of about 1.1 at one spot near the center. Measured across the linear rails and found they were just slightly out of parallel, trued them up and got the friction test reading consistent all the way across. I never checked to see if I could feel a tight spot moving it by hand and don't know if this will make any perceivable difference but I'm sure it won't hurt.
