Where's the second one? I don't see one that's in the same package on the AUX board. Did you jumper broken traces? I guess I haven't looked closely enough to know if I have any that are open.

Yes i did jumper the broken traces.
Take a look of the attached file to found the crystal oscillator.

Are they both the same frequency?

The one in the middle is:

The one next to the battery is:

Using a heat gun I was able to remove the remnants of the rubber and de-solder the can right off the upper crystal ...eek that's hot. Once I removed the rubber from the traces on the 6MHz crystal I could see an open trace. I'll try and fix it and see if any joy comes out of that.
