Delta Dynapath 10 Repair or retrofit

    I've a Shizouka mill
    delta dynapath 10
    2 x Servo Dynamic SDFP1525-12 (X & Z axes)
1 unidentified servo board (Y axis, pictured)
    3 SEM MT30U4-42 servo motors

the mill is a bit rusted up from condensation. the X and Z axes can move an inch or two in jog before throwing a servo error. the Y axis won't budge.
I'd like to replace the Dynapath and the mill itself for smaller items transferring the servo motors & controllers.
can anyone lend advice as to diagnostics for ascertaining faults that lie in my servo boards, motors and Dynapath?
in my present level of ignorance, I believe I can control the servo boards via a parallel port i.e. this Opto Breakout board and hooking up to a modern sort of computer running fancy software that'll make learning CNC easy (easier than the Dynapath)

    Thanks,
    Quentin Llop
