Update on Delta 10 , I found out it had already been upgraded to a 20 with drip feed, and have waddled through the post to get the mill to run. Have made a lot of progress in the last several days. Now to work on the model files and cut trodes !

I have an MHP mill with a Delta 10 control, memory is limited and the 3d parts i want to do will require drip feeding, which is available on 20 and up, so I read. I am under the gun here and need to find out if delta 1o and Delta 20 are a direct swap out of the card cage or perhaps just cards , or is this a major lobotomy and refit operation. I need some answers pretty fast so I can make some decisions, If anyone has any experience in doing this I would appreciate any info / feedback
Thanks![]()

To help answer you original question for other. The delta 10 and 20 are based on the same processor board (depending on the generation). Main differences were a slightly faster processor and a co-processor (remember those) and the ability to add more options.
To update from a 10 to a 20 would require a board swap and chip swap. Some parameters would have to be updated for the new options.
Harder to find then to do. Dynapath or parts and smarts may be able to do it.
Congrats - good luck.
