    bearings

    I need to buy bearings for my Dyna myte 2000
    does any one have a good souse

    Which bearings are you after? I just did the spindle in my DM2000. The stock bearings are some spendy 6002 p5 grade by GMN. I dropped down to the abec 3 grade or an "EMQ" (electric motor quality bearing) for 30$ for all 3. They are sealed and good for way more than the 10K the spindle turns at. If money isn't an issue best bearings are not the stock 6002 p5's but some 7002 angular contact bearings. They come in matched pairs. @ $240 - $280 for the set and you'll still need a 6002 for the top bearing. I almost went with the ceramic version the VXB.com sells for 68$. But I found it hard to get any real information as to their suitablity. I stayed with the local McGuire bearing guys here in Seattle. You can get cheaper if you do even a little digging but I like the service I got from the guy on the phone.
