    Hi,

I'm just switching website servers. I'll get everything fixed up soon.
Just bought a Pokeys 55 after reading your Interact 412 thread.
Looking forward to getting it wired in.

    More toys!

The PoKeys55 works great for more I/O. The MPG part is tricky to get tuned right. Post pics when you can....

OK, the new server is online and pictures are back up where their supposed to be. Too bad I can't go back and edit some of the posts. I found some spelling and grammar mistakes when I was checking the picture links. Its a wonder you guys can understand anything I type...

In an effort to clean up the birds nest of the back cabinet and to add a few more optional electronics I had an aluminum panel made up to fit inside the original enclosure. I had the corner where the ammeter is waterjet cut along with little windows to feed the wiring through the original armoured cables.

You'll see the pokeys55 sitting there along with a CNC4PC relay board. This should be enough to operate the tool changer with a macro when everything is hooked up correctly and the stop switches are set.

So I've finally stepped up and bought a Kurt CNC vise for my DM4400. I won(?) two used Kurt 3600V's of at a local machine shop auction. I disassembled them, cleaned and dressed them, then reassembled them with new seals and bearings. I also got new SnapJaws for them too just to add that final touch.

I had to make my own sine key to lock the vise into the DM4400 table. And at the same time I also made some thick washers for the hold down studs because the 10mm nuts didn't sit on the vise notches very well.

    Isn't it pretty?

Unfortunately the bed height of the Kurt vise is different from the old import vises I had so I had to reset ALL of my tooling offsets. I know, waaaaa.
