Dyna Myte / Yuasa 550-046 4th axis users

Bought a rotary table for my DM2800 like I've seen in pictures. Two issues:
1. The motor housing rotates. Is there a set screw missing? (first pic)

2. Classic square peg in round hole. Table has a different connector than machine (2nd pic). Any suggestions?

You can prolly get a connector from Mouser.
It looks to be an Amphenol type.

Hi,

Your yuasa table is set up for DM 2200 SMALL MILL. It has the correct plug for that mill. Also, the stepper is also wrong for the DM 2800, it is the stepper used in the DM 2200 axes. The stepper used in the DM2800 yuasa table is the same as the axes motors on the DM2800. You cannot just change the plug,it is metric For you to use the yuasa table you have make or find the axes assmbley housing and related parts. This is what has happen to me. I made or bought all the parts needed change from a unit that was made for a DM2200 mill to a DM2800 mill. About the first question,yes their is a set screw to lock the stepper housing from turning.

I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to post. This is valuable information and sets me on a new course. I pulled the motor covers off and noticed they were different, and the rotary has what looks like it's own driver board. You saved me countless hours experimenting with wiring configuration. Now I need to decide whether to make this one work or try to find one made for the 2800. Thanks again.
BTW I got the motor locked down, I found 4 set screws that were loose.
