Info on a Dyna Myte 2200?

I cannot find any "real" info on this machine other than it sounds like the company went belly up.

    Does anyone know the travels?
Does it use a standard collet?
What is the max. spindle speed?

    Thanks!

    Mike

Company is not belly up. Dyna Mechtronics 408-452-1010 Ask for Roberto. services@dynamechtronics.com No real support for the machines, some parts but very few. I believe the 2200 is the same frame in general as my 2400. ER16 collet. My max spindle speed is 10000 on the pot, not sure if it will hit it. Spindle motors are on the light side. Btw the machines are highly accurate and were very well built. Capable of cutting any metal. I would guess your travels to be in the X 5", Y 4" & Z about 4 of travel but the spindle and the quill will allow quite a bit of room for set up.

Though this site probably has the most Dyna info I have found, the yahoo groups Dyna group is ok too. These machines do pop up on Ebay and various places pretty regularly. There are some great documentations here on the zone of at least 2 Dyna's of this size range that I can think of offhand.

Those builds will have quite a bit of info and pictures for you. The builders did a good job on the conversions. Also did you get the software when you purchased your machine? The dongle? Most likely you didnt. If you did great, if you didnt just convert it over to a modern controller and save yourself a headache or 2.

    Dyna 2200

I know it is an old post, but... As I understand it, the 2200's did not have a serial port and had a much slower feed rates. The travel distance was the same as the 2400C. The 2200's did not have a pan as the 2400's did and there was no oiler option as with the 2400 which had two types of oilers available. Some did not have the table cover on the left end. Dyna did offer a conversion to a 2400C serial port and upgrade on the controler and feed rate. I have two 2200's and one 2400C
