I have a problem using the involute function which I bought. When I open it up and set it up to diametral pitch and number of teeth it won't let me select anyting but 8 diametral pitch. I can change it but when I move on down to set the tooth count it changes back to 8. This is in inches mode progamming a spur gear. I was trying to program a 14.5 pressure angle with 10 diametral pitch and 20 teeth. Can someone else try this and see if it will work for them? I'm beginning to wonder if there is a problem with my installation or if there is a software glitch. Any help would be appreciated.  |
