offset goes crazy and gives me this grief!

i just want to offset one line and it locks up and gives me this line.....




i cant get the dam little window to leave and have to reboot my computer to close the page. all this work and i cant even save my progress.......

I get this occasionally and would also like to know the answer or a fix that will allow me to carry on without a reboot.

We are trying to find a solution to this.

In the meantime if you want to offset a line or arc, choose "Parallel" line or arc from the Line / Arc options toolbar.

oh, there is a paralell arc button......cool
well just look into the offset thing for ue. it sometimes works fast and fine but sometimes just goes crazy and stops everything.

Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del to get the task manager. Kill off dcam.exe, which wasn't correctly called from dcad. Once dcam.exe is gone, then you'll get a RPC Failed message when you click the retry button. Close that message and continue working. RPC is Remote Procedure Call.

That doesn't work on mine. it closes the program but the server message is still stuck in the middle of the screen.
