I've been using CamBam for quite sometime now and just started getting into cutting some 3D. It has let me down twice now and I want something a little more reliable. My question is can the Part Master Pro do any 3D machining? Such as a wheel for an RC car for instance. I need 2D and 3D capabilities in one program. I would hate to purchase the 3D software from Dolphin, if all it can do is, 3D. Thanks, Scott  |

| I could be wrong but I really do not believe there is a 3d program that cannot do 2d also. Before you buy the 3d version though, I would see if Partmaster pro would do what your after. Much more affordable and a very nice solid program. I have access to surfcam at work and use dolphin for my own home shop. I have grown to love the program and use it quite often. |
