Need Help!- Dolphin Partmaster Lathe Mach3 Post problem?

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me out:

Trying to post code for a simple part, I get an error message on opening the code in Mach3: "Radius to end of arc differs from radius to start line 31". I've tried changing the IJ mode to incremental, but that doesn't help. I've tried redrawing the original .dxf, and tried both the Mach3 post processors, and now I'm lost.

The strange thing is the first time I used the software (this was the second time ever), it worked just fine. Same lathe, same Mach3 settings, no problem. Dolphin support suggest I need a custom post, but I don't understand why - there's nothing special about my Mach3 setup, and it worked fine first time.

Any help would be gratefully received!

With my limited knowledge of Dolphin. If you zoom on the area you will see that those points are not connected and that will need to be fixed. The CAM never fixes mine when that happens.

Smitty, thank you for the suggestion - that may well be it. I will check the drawing more carefully and see what I can find, I'll let you know how I get on.
