Please help a blind man.

Problem,

I have V9 on one machine and 10 on another and both do this.
Partmaster level 3 Pro or what ever.
When I open Dcam on the right hand side it opens up with the black command window displayed with the Status window behind it.

As I don't use the Command window I have to select Status every time and it annoys me.

In V8 there was a command somewhere on the menus to tell it to start in Status but in both V9 and V10 I can't find it. Any clues lads and lasses ? if not anyone have a decent guide dog ?

John S.

Unhappy

I don't see it either John. All I can find is the Status Bar in the View, Toolbars menu, but you are referring too the Tool Status Panel right? I wasn't even aware that option was available. Sorry no help from me.

Regards,

Yeah, it annoys me to. I can see no point to this command window in level 3 pro or whatever, it just adds confussion.

I never even saw it in V8 so have just checked the printed help manual for V8& yep it is there, so there must have been a way to hide it.

Angry

Hey, I have just found you can click the little 'x' at the top of the command/status/variable window and you can close the whole darn thing down & so get a bigger part display.

However this totally screws up cam, even after re-booting I can no longer do anything. Cam opens however none of the toolbar icons do anything, file/open would be a good one to start with! Will not work if I come in via cad either. There does not seem to be a way to get the window to appear again.

My cam is now totally stuffed (

Thanks blind man !!!

Anybody else want to try?

To fix this, go to "My Computer", "C-Drive", "Program Files", "Dolphin CAD/CAM",
"Partmaster", "Programs", and the click on "Toolbar Fix.exe". Select "Restore"
