New web site

I like the new design better than the old site. It is easier on the eyes with the softer colors too. I think it may help the individual software packages if they could get some new graphics to use to display the software in use and some new screen-shots of work being done with the program.
I think it may be easier to navigate the site now too!

Hi everyone and thanks for the input.

Metalworkz, could you eloborate a bit as I am not sure exactly what you mean with this. "I think it may help the individual software packages if they could get some new graphics to use to display the software in use and some new screen-shots of work being done with the program".

Hi Rodney,

I really like the facelift to the website and feel that it may be worth it for the Dolphin CAD/CAM screen-shots to be updated(or changed) to go along with the facelift idea?
Most of the screen-shots for each package have been used for some time now and some 'new' shots may give the overall view of the adds a fresh appearance. I am not being critical I just think the same idea can be applied to the software adds as it has been applied to the website. The shots currently in the adds are fine and are representative of the software, I just think it would be great to have some new shots with different parts to use, and all the screen-shots could be saved and alternated or used as needed.
Sorry, I meant my comment to be a positive and the suggestion is just expanding on what you have already done with the site. I hope my explanation did not confuse things more? I have to admit I only looked at the milling adds to see the screenshots, and if the other packages have changed the shots I have not seen them yet.
Best regards,

Hi Wes,

By absolutely no means what so ever do I found that being critical or negative. We are very thankful for you're input. It's a great idea and we will more than likely switch up the main images on the homepage to give it a new feel.

What is Partmaster Standard & Partmaster Pro?

I thought there was
level 1, cad with maching from cad only
level 2, cad & cam with wizards
level 3 full cam functionality.

Windy, you are correct.

However, we are changing it a bit in North America. Level 1 is more less the version we use for certain OEM's. And to make it a bit easier we change L2 to Standard and L3 to Pro.

Naming Confusion

Hi Rodney - The new site looks great. As I was moving around and looking at the pricing and support pages I found the new names confusing. If I was unfamiliar with Dolphin I would think you were selling 5 milling products. Partmaster Standard, Partmaster Pro, and Levels 1,2 & 3. It would be helpful if the names for the program was the same as the name for the support. I have always been a little confused that the name Dolphin was used most of the time but the program name (Partmaster) is randomly applied. Keep up the good work and thanks for your help when needed.

Gary

Hi Gary,
We have fixed a few things that may have cause confusing. Not anywhere on the site now does it mention Level 1, 2 or 3. So it may be confusing for current customer but we gave a pretty good heads up what we have done. We will continue to add as time progresses. We have added a post processors page now which shows several different pp we already have customized. Thanks for the reply.
