Grid not displaying correctly in d-cad

Hi all,

I cannot get the grid in d-cam to display properly. I just get a small blue blobs all over the screen, where the horizontal and vertical lines would cross. I do not actually get a proper grid. I have d-cad v10.

My graphics card is a ATI Radeon X700 pro with 128mb ram. I have tried various display modes from the windows -display window and also tried different grid sizes 1mm, 5mm,10mm etc in the d-cad grid setup box, but always the same blobs.

Am I missing something really simple?

All help appreciated,
BR,
Windy.

Thumbs up

The answer has come from those good folk at Dolphin:-

From the main menu choose View > Preferences > Options and untick the
> box "Draw grid intersections only" this should then display the grid
> just like graph paper.

They really are top people ) They monitor the yahoo dolphin forum and often reply in minutes of a question.

It is 'querky' Dolphin that has a grid setup box that only allows some paramaters to be changed and one has to go elsewhere for others. Like all things, easy once you know.

Tell me about it, they really are on the ball- I took over this job from a chap who died 3 years ago or so. Five years previous to this he'd got Dolphin to write a custom post processor for him. Dolphin still had a copy of it eight years later and actualy got it to me with no fuss at all. Impressive service.

I have to agree on that. There have been a few times where I have emailed Dolphin late at night in the US and got a reply almost instantly. Support has been 2nd to none.
