In the post processor compiler it shows posts for mill lathe and wire edm. If you dont have all the modules, thats probably why they wont appear. M_= Mill Posts T_=Turn Posts and W_=Wire edm posts

Thanks, I see whats going on. Can I use a Meldas mill post for a Meldas lathe and just rename the file T_ instead of M_ so the CAM will see it? Whats the difference between the posts? There is a Meldas mill post but no Meldas lathe post that I can see.

No, Mill and lathe posts are very different.
Mill uses X and Y for the table and Z for the head.
Lathe uses X for cross slide and Z for bed movement.
Try using a generic lathe post and see what it spits out and then post what's different / needed for the Meldas.

Try the T_F6 or T_FOT posts for the fanuc lathe
Comparing a known post to a good part pst is about the only way you can get a post to suit your machine.

OK thanks...that makes sense that they would be different. I think Mitsubishi Meldas controls are very standard so as you said the Fanuc post may work well. I will give your suggestions a try.
