Ramping into work

I have DolphinCad Level 2 and I see it supports the ramping feature on the Z axis. Where do I set this up?

Let me make sure I am understanding this term too. Ramping is when the bit eases into the work in lieu of plunging straight down, correct?

found in the goround function you can set angle and distance.I would love it if it would ramp up for engraving, I spit my contours and ramp down from either end for that effect, its alot of work

Ramping makes a big difference, and I did not realize it until I tried it. So much smoother cutting and the start and end of the contours is not so noticeable.

I need to give this a try soon. I cut some parts tonite, but I just used the drop straight down method yet.
