| From the main menu select ‘VIEW’. From the resultant drop down menu make sure the item ‘ToolTips’ is unset. This item causes the Tips box to be shown when the mouse pauses. Let me know if this works.    |

| Issue here has been resolved. Simply from the view tab, click properties. From the next dialogue, select the "snap mode" tab. You can then change the search tolerance from 4 pixels to a maximun of 32 pixels. |
