Newbie- Multiple Contours

Hi Folks, I'm slowly moving along teaching myself Dolphin Cad/Cam. Here is my current dilemma. I have drawn a part, something in the shape of the letter "F".

All the vertical and horizontal areas are .750 wide. The ends of the two horizontal parts of the "F" have an arc (.750" dia.). My problem is when I create a contour, I wind up with 9 contours.
My thinking is that there should only be one contour. Am I missing something ??

The problem was there were 25 duplicated lines and arcs. These were drawn on top of each other so it's very difficult to know they exist.

To check go to Edit > Delete duplicates - it will report what it finds.

Also there were two lines across the top of the shape, they weren't identical, one was slightly shorter than the other. I deleted one of them and then used Intersect with Clip items to trim the line to the two vertical lines at each end.

I have attached a modified drawing that has only one contour.
