I'm not sure if something has happend to my post processor or if I'm overlooking something in dolphin but I have two problems. First: When I do an area clear, dolphin does not use the z-feed rate when it plunges or ramps into the part. It had been doing it on other programs but now it is not. It uses the XY feedrate for everything. Second: My post process is leaving coordinates off after a tool change. For Example, say I'm drilling a hole with a center drill and then change tools to a drill, it will leave off one of the coordinates and drill in the wrong spot. I have to manually go in and put in the correct coordinate. Last edited by dlenardu; 09-24-2011 at 12:00 PM. |

| It is a Milltronics Partner 1 with a Cent 5 controller. The post processor was a custom one written by dolphin. It had been working fine until recently. However I noticed even on the simulation in the cam program the feed rate is not changing on the Z during the area clear operation. I'm not sure why it started leaving off coordinates in the g-code |
