    Geometry Editor Drilling

Hello, I've been searching, but , can't seem to find a how to. I'm slowly learning how to use this software, but, the manuals are kinda limited. How do you add drilling after making a part in Geo editor.

I have the contouring down, but, can't seem to figure out how to drill a hole. Do you have to edit the G code after post processing????

    thanks

    pete

    Pete,

    1) Create a Pattern of Points to be drilled.
This can be done in the CAD module by selecting the Pattern option of the contour creation dialogue.
Patterns can be created in CAM by using the Pattern feature (found under machining menu item)

Patterns can be created from circles found on imported DXF files.

    2) Within the CAM module :-
    Define a Drilling Tool
Select Tool Change Operation (M06) and set Current Tool to a Drill Tool.
Select Drill operation and set drill cycle parameters.

    Example files attached.
2 Patterns, one created in CAD module and one created in CAM module.
    Two tools defined.
