| Hello Forrest, To draw the knurling you could you the Hatch option on an enclosed shape, hatch it twice, once with angle 45 degrees, then again with -45. This will give a knurled effect. To draw a thread you could use the symbol command - a symbol is a group of elements that can be stored and manipulated. Draw a single tooth, the use Symbol > Collect - drag a window around the area and the give the "hook" point as say the lower left hand point, name the symbol. You can the use Symbol > Draw to place the symbol on the drawing, then select Repeat and fill in the details as required. Depending on you system setup the Symbol and Repeat option may not be shown on the Drawing option toolbar, you can get them from the Draw menu item at the top of the screen. Hope this is clear.
