I am trying to send a program to my FADAL vmc40 using PART MASTER COMMS. The problem I am having is every time I send the program I get a bunch or Errors on the controller. I tryed it in format 1 and 2 with the same results.I am using Windows 7 , Iogear USB to serial adapter,DB9 to DB25 cable. Need Help!!!

Hello,

You will need to try to isolate the problem, could you help with the following:-

Have you been able to link to the machine before ?

Are you able to link to other machines ?

Is this new PC ?

What are the error messages ? things like "Framing error" which would indicate a comms problem, or "Invalid character" which pointto the Gcodes.
